Matrioshka Embroidery Set

Here is my new pattern for Matrioshka Sewing Set - Thread Keeper, Hanger (or Pinkeep) and Scissor Fob.



I used this pattern for Matrioshka Thread Keeper (linen, Anchor floss one over one, beads, mother of pearl button).

And the same pattern for hanger (or pinkeep) - linen, Anchor floss two over two, felt and mother of pearl button. How to make this kind of hanger look here.



I used for back side of hanger this lovely patchwork fabric with russian ornaments.

I like the results! This is the picture of Saint Basil's Cathedral in Moscow .



And the scissor fob with Matrioshka.





So, do like it? Next week I'll show you my new pattern for biscornu with Matrioshka and may be something else.

Easter Sampler Egg

Easter Sampler Egg finishing in felt&ribbons. Six Strands Sweets floss (Berry Meadley)
Please, NOTE: This model was stitched on linen. Use two strands of floss over one linen thread.



You can use felt, ribbons and beads for finishing.
Here I show how to make "felt heart". This way of finishing is also good for "felt egg". My tutorial is in russian, but I think it is not the problem for understanding for someone who love stitch&craft. Welcome!

Spring Heart

Spring Heart Ornament Hanger for my friend.




I used hand-dyed floss Anne So Creation "Orchidée sauvage". I really like the floss and the colors! Merci, Anne So!

I've embroidered 2 hearts, using this pattern. But in one case I used cross stitch for three little hearts, and in other special Rhodes Heart stitch.


I used one heart for ornament hanger (like pinkeep), and the second I will use a bit later. Probably I use it for scissor fob? Who knows! Just waiting! Spring is a time for inspiration.
